About this website
This website provides information about the Jewellery Council of Zimbabwe, its members and membership applications. Contact infor@jcz.org.zw with questions about these terms.
Using the service
Provide accurate information and submit details only where you have authority to do so. Do not impersonate a business, submit malicious or unlawful material, harvest personal information, interfere with the website or attempt to access another person’s records. Protect your email account and do not share passwords or password-reset links.
Membership applications and accounts
An online acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance as a Council member. The Council assesses applications and can request supporting information. Eligibility, fees, inspections and membership obligations must be confirmed directly with the Council. No payment is collected through this website. Email sign-in confirms access to an email address; it does not itself establish membership. Approval is a separate Council decision.
Member directory
The directory reproduces business information supplied to the Council. Contact the Council to confirm current membership and the business directly to confirm its address, availability and services. A listing is not a guarantee of a specific transaction, item, valuation or business outcome. Report incorrect details through the contact page.
Consumer enquiries
The Council can receive concerns and provide guidance within its remit. Sending an enquiry does not guarantee a particular resolution or replace contractual, statutory or other remedies available to you. Keep your transaction records and relevant correspondence.
Metals prices and editorial information
Metals prices come from an external market-data provider. Quotes can be delayed, unavailable or unchanged when markets are closed and are not the Council’s buying or selling prices. They exclude local charges, taxes, fabrication costs and dealer margins. Website articles and prices are general information, not personalised financial, legal or valuation advice.
Content and third-party services
Council branding and site content must not be used to imply unauthorised affiliation or endorsement. Third-party content remains subject to its owner’s terms. External websites, maps, authentication and market feeds operate under their providers’ conditions. Some photographs are illustrative and do not identify an actual listed member.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep information accurate and the service available, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. If a form fails, retain your information and contact the Council. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how submitted information is handled. We can update these terms as services change; the latest revision date is shown above. Zimbabwean law applies, subject to any mandatory rights applicable to the user.
